Day #2-Full of Fun in the Sun!

Yeah! So once again we started out our day with swimming lessons for T. Then we headed up to swim with some friends in their pool. We all had so much fun even though Ty and P stayed at home for P's much needed nap. Mr MP3, Miss Cell, and little T swam their hearts out, here are some of their tricks...

After swimming, eating cookies, and drinking lemonade we headed home. First thing on the list, cheese quesadillas and dinosaur chicken nuggets. Then we played making forts, playing in the fountain and rock garden outside, and even making some chocolate chip cookies. Everyone got their turn mixing, dumping, and EATING!

Tonight's agenda...BBQ at a friends house, more swimming, and more eating... we better get to it. Then SLEEP...to rest up for a big day of fun tomorrow.

Our favorite things about today:
Miss Cell's: "swimming and going down the slide into the pool"
Mr. MP3: "definitely, SLIDE"
T's: "to go swimming and have sree cookies"
P's: "fjdksl ajlkdgoi" yah we didn't get it either...but he had fun too.
Mine: Having Miss Cell ask me to pick out her clothes, do her hair, and PUT A BOW IN IT... Oh, and saying my farewells to the mohawk... I have to tell you though, Mr. MP3 was pretty excited and this is what he had to say about it... "I'm happy it's off...and...it felt really cool."

Cousin Company!

We are so excited!!! This week lil' "Miss Cell" and "Mr. MP3" came down to visit! They took their very FIRST plane ride with me last night and loved every minute of it. The I need more crackers... I am dizzy... I am thirsty... I need more ice... I need more snacks... I need the movie back on... and I am still dizzy, were ok because they were far outweighed by the shock and awe of take off and landing and the fascination with the flight. They were so brave and it was a smooth flight.

This morning we woke up and I was in so excited to do a little girl's hair! (I am sure none of you are shocked considering I have a little fascination with hairbows and everything girlie!) Little Cell usually doesn't like it but this morning she was all about it. In fact, after we went swimming this afternoon guess who was asking me to do her hair and put the bow back in it????

So after T's swimming lessons this morning we went to Ethel M's Chocolate Factory with a bunch of our Vegas friends. We got to go through a tour and see how they made all those chocolates, we also did quite a bit of sampling! Then at the very end we bought some chocolate-covered gummy worms, YUM!

Afterwards we went grocery shopping, everybody had a few things to rember.
Miss Cell: milk
Ritz
Mr. MP3: graham crackers
chocolate
marshmallows
T: cheese
chocolate chips

Everyone did so good at remembering!

Our favorite things about today:

Miss Cell: "OHHH, firing smores!"

Mr. MP3: "Watching (Miss Cell) eat all the marshmallows"

T: "to the chocate fattery to eat chocate worms!"

P: "......" yup just silence.

Friends & Fun!!!

We have had so much fun this week. First our friends from Utah came to visit. Their little girl and T played so good together. We went to check out the fountains and gardens again, had some homemade pizzas, hit the carousel (always a favorite!), then headed home for the best part SMORES! It is always so fun to play and we are so grateful to have such good friends!

This week T also started swimming lessons. He is a little fish...he loves going to his lessons because he says the he " won't have to use his floaties" when he is done. He is relentless with his "CANNONBALL"s and is so brave. Today we went swimming at a friend's house and he LOVED it!!! Here is a little clip of him acting all grown-up! P just waits for T to finish his lessons on the near-by grass, being his normal crazy self. The trees around the swim center are all dedicated to different people, yesterday he went in for the all-out tackle of one of the Saint statues near one of them...thankfully he won and they both fell to the ground...he considered it a victory and has left her alone ever since.

What Kind of Human am I Anyways?!?!?!?

Yet another Sunday night of me and the boys, just the little ones that is because big T is off studying. So this week we had a lot of fun and a little not so fun moments. Last weekend while I was working up north Ty had taken T to study with him at his school. Well apparently T was hanging from one of those long tables they all sit at and fell off and on the ground, the problem is the table followed and landed right on T's forehead. So for the first several days it was a MASSIVE bump across his forehead... he kept asking me, "Mommy, what kind of human am I anyways?" Since he was acting fine we did not take him in. By Wednesday the bruising was worse but the swelling had gone down a little bit. By down I mean down his face...his nose and eyes were so swollen, and black and blue mind you. So after asking a few of our Dr. friends the concensus was to get him checked out. Thursday morning found us in the local Children's Hospital getting the CT scan of his little head. Little T was so brave. He held really still and acted like he was sleeping the whole time, that is until the machine turned on... His eyes became the size of quarters and I think he thought the machine was going to take him out, but he stayed so still just like they had asked, was so courageous, and I was very proud of him. T was given a clean bill of health, the "head picture" showed no bleed, broken skulls, or messed up eyes (as T tells the story). So it turns out T survived another weekend home with daddy, but BARELY!

The rest of the week was much more fun...we went swimming at some friends' house, did a little shopping and found some steals at Old Navy, and spent a few nights on the town. We took the boys to the local library carnival. They bounced in the bounce house, chucked a lot of bean bags across the library, and did every activity there so they could win the prize. It was all about the prize. All the boys could talk about was THE PRIZE! The prize...the smallest pixy stick I have ever seen. Moving on... Friday we went to this sort of swanky shopping district where they play "movies under the stars". We took the boys to Horton Hears a Who. Very cute show, millions of people (not all of them very nice to one another), and a few bags of popcorn later we headed home... Fun but next time I think we will avoid the crowd, hit Blockbuster, and set up a tv in the backyard.

Another fun thing this week... T said his first prayer in primary today. He did so GREAT! I just love that he is in primary now, he is learning so much. Every night at dinner we now have both an opening and closing prayer per T's request. He always says one of them and Ty or I say the other. He loves to pray and he LOVES to sing! In preparation for the Father's Day program next week they have been practicing a few songs. All day today I listened to "I'm So Glad When Daddy Comes Home", I never got tired of hearing it. Little T is so thoughtful, T and I laid down to watch a movie on Sunday and I woke up to him serving up 3 bowls of ice cream for him, Ty, and I. He said ,"P won't like this ice cream, cause this is MY favorite."

Take Me Out To The Ballgame!!

A couple of nighs ago we drove up to the local minor league baseball game. Tommy-G, Ty's PA buddy and the fam went and we had so much fun. We had awesome seats, 3 rows back from home plate, and of course had some nachos, hot dogs, and chocolate-covered frozen bananas. So our team lost that night but not for lack of fun from the stands. T caught a bag of Cracker Jacks and a team t-shirt and immediately had to put it on, despite it being an XL. Towards the top of the eighth inning wrestling with P got a little out of hand and we called it a night but all-in-all it was a fun night with the fam!

The Fam!

T and I!

Terrific Tommy-G and P (Tommy is the original teacher of the "Down Low, You Got Soul" trick sported by both T and P. P has slightly changed the rendition to pointing and yelling, "vnoudsagvnofda ngoiangaoiun ssssssssss!". We catch every word! After T shows everyone he knows his new move he says, "You know who teach me that???? TOMMY!!!!)

T SO excited about catching the new t-shirt!!

Road Trip and Double Trouble!!!

We have had such a fun few weeks, starting with Gramma Debbie coming down for a visit. We had so much FUN! We saw some of the sights, swam, and of course did a little shopping (of which P was not a huge fan) and a lot of eating (mostly Cheesecake Factory cheesecake). Oh and Krispy Kreme where the kids (and us) watched the donut assembly line for a very long time...

The next week we went to the Children's Museum for a field trip with T's preschool. We had so much fun! They got to play "grocery store", fix cars, and a ton of other fun things...

This week we took a little trip up north to work and play with the fam. T and P always have so much fun at Gramma Debbie and Papa Jerry's house. The new pets however stole the show. T and P chased, they pounced, and they played with the little baby chicks and ducks. It was a nearly tearful goodbye on the boys' end but I am sure the chicks were thrilled with the parting. On the way back home we were able to make a few stops to play with friends. The whole trip was a lot of fun!

So my nearly-nightly"therapy" has become watching The Bachellorette on the internet (becuase of course we have no cable), making the most adorable little hairbows and headbands (even though I have no little girls), and the best part a Diet Pepsi on the rocks. The other night while I was in "therapy" I hear:
T: Come on P...
P: Uh...
T: Quiet...
P: Uh...
(sounds like they are still in the bedroom, not too worried)
Quiet... until P comes tripping (of course) into my bedroom...
P: UH-OH!! (dragging me downstairs...)
Uh-Oh allright. I found A LOT of food out of the fridge and T asleep on the top shelf of my pantry. After climbing on a couple five gallon buckets to reach T wakes up just enough to say: "Mommy, P and I want to do "ferafy" with you..." and goes back to sleep. Not really getting the whole "ferafy" thing until the next morning when the boys suprised me with a diet pepsi and yards and yards of ribbon... I tell you, our boys are crazy and dangerous but we love them!
Double Trouble!!! P is clumsy, he trips when he walks, falls when he runs, and crashes when he rides. His curly hair has all the lil' girls looking and his personality matches the madness of the hair-do. Lately he has had some strage fascination with underwear, shoes, cell phones, and keys. Hence the other day we were delivering cookies to some neighbors, yes below is a picture of P in the stroller sporting his older bro's undies, holding my cell phone, Ty's keys and probably some little girl's shoes he found at the park... He loves to play and is a fantastic sleeper, probably because after falling 44 times in a day and running into 8 different tables he considers himself better off to just go to sleep and start over the next day...

T is growing like crazy... He loves to ride his bike and just finished up his first year of preschool. He LOVES friends and LOVES to play. He is really cathcing on to swimming and he gets plenty of practice. T torments P, but I keep telling myself it is only out of love that he does it... I am not always so sure. P, however, gives him quite a run for his money only being 4 pounds lighter.

Ty and I are still enjoying every minute together and with our boys. I work and play, Ty studies and we try to catch up with each other once in a while. Well, I guess I better get to it...

Fab Weekend!!!

Ok, so every girl has a dream house...I use to think I did, now I do! This weekend Ty, our cute little guys, and I went to the parade of homes here and let me tell you...we saw things I could not have dreamed about before seeing them. These homes were beautiful!!! Beautiful pools, amazing views, and vast square footage, like 20,000 of them. It was so much fun and it was great to spend time as a family. I just love my little fam! After looking at all these fabulous homes our only redeeming factor was that we don't have to make the 50,000 dollar a month house payment..we figure 18 million, if you put 8mil down...then 10 mil is left and is probably the 50,000 mark. HOLY COW!!! Anyways, the weather outside is fab and I think my boys and I are going to go on a walk. Have a great weekend guys!!!

Fun with FAM!

A little update...the boys are growing up! T is 4 now and whenever anybody does something he is not happy about he threatens, "I'm going to tell your birthday not to come!!!" He is so adorable! He loves to ride his bike and scooter and catch ladybugs. Yesterday's ladybug he named climbee. They hang out in a bucket in my living room and then at night I release it back into the rocky wilderness of our front yard. The boys and I are still goint north to work but it has really been working out. The only thing is T has no idea where we are half the time, "Mom, are we in Begas? Mom are we in Tello? Mom are we in Peenix?" P is our solid little man. He is full of life and an adventurous little stink. He tries riding T's bike but most of the time just ends up getting hurt so he resorts to the tricycle. He climbs and falls, he runs and falls, heck, he walks and falls! We just love our boys and are so grateful for all of our friends and family.

So we were really lucky this time because this month we were able to go both north and south. We had so much fun, the boys just LOVE playing with cousins. We had such a fun time for easter. We decorated cookies, hunted for eggs and candy, and PLAYED, PLAYED, PLAYED! After having so much fun we headed south for a little warm weather and some fun with the other fam! On our way we stopped by the Hill Air Force Base Museum to see all the cool planes. It was pretty amazing and some more of our fam met us there. Once we made to the Heps we had so much fun visiting and had a BLAST! We watched the cousins' t-ball game, did some bowling, and played a little Dance-Off Revolution. P was sick the whole time, and might I say a little on the grouchy side, but we still had a great time! All in all we had a fun little break, a lot of driving but a whole lot of fun!

FUN in the sun!!!

Sorry so long!!!! ...seems to be the first thing said in each of my blogs because it has always been so long since I last did it. It has been a busy couple months both at home, up north, and down south. Here at home we have enjoyed playing in the sun. We ride our bikes, play at the park, and in the pool. In fact last week some friends and I were playing at the pool and as I was helping T out of the pool P climbed out of his stroller and decided to try out the deep end, not the best of his creative little ideas! Oh yes, mom went in after him, clothes and all (might I add the cell phone in the pocket). Now he is a life jacket boy, poor little guy can't be trusted. Besides playing outside, the boys also LOVE to help me bake, so we still LOVE taking treats to all of our fun neighbors! We have met so many GREAT people here. We are trying to play a lot outside before it gets too hot!

Wow! It's been a long time!

So apparently time flies because I so didn't realize that it had been so long. Winter was fun but we are sure loving the spring. It was 84 degrees today, and we soaked up as much of the sun as we could. Ty and I took the boys on a walk, we rode bikes and scooters, and went to the park. We have had a fun and interesting couple of months. T had a birthday, an uninsured motorist cost our insurance 16,000 dollars to fix our Yukon, and we went to Idaho. As for the birthday, T still talks about it. He's a big boy now and can do some pretty amazing things on his new little bike, like pushing himself off the seat and onto the back tire in order to stop. Curious, but hilarious to watch. Onto the "incident", a few days before T's birthday a guy with, of course, no insurance plowed into the side of our Yukon. Once we got T to stop crying about the car being broken and me holding Ty back from trying to take out the other driver, everything was fine. 16,000 dollars in repairs later, I am back to driving my baby. Thankfully we have great insurance. Now for Idaho, we had so much fun! We did so many fun things. We went to the arcade with the fam and had a great time. You wouldn't think spending a lot of money on tokens and winning a lot of tickets would get you so little in the end. But it was fun. Ty and I spent a weekend skiing at Targhee and had a blast. No one was hurt on the hill which was our main goal. Now home we are back to preschool, libraries, playgroups, and fun in the sun. T is loving his bike, scooter, and the fountain in our back yard. As for P, everyone calls him the mad man. He climbs on anything in sight. He wanders the house with either a stool or chair so that he can get anywhere he might need to go. He still has his curls which he will probably not love, but the ladies sure love it now. We just love our boys!!!! Ty is doing awesome in school and I keep busy working and being a mom. Well, I better get to it but I promise I will get my act together and not wait so long to update.

The proof is in the pictures:

Our little MAD MAN!!! For a whole day-goggles, tennis racket, puppy.
His Converse and a diaper, necessities of life.

T showing off his moves on the new bike!!

SAD, huh????? She's back now though, beautiful as ever (with a bonus, all new tires!!)

Busted! T's idea or P's???????

Out at the Lake...

Well the boys and I have made it back and Ty has once again hit the books. The break was fun and it was fun to have a cold and snowy Christmas. We went sledding, spent time with cousins, and played with family. On Saturday the "little" boys and I went to storytime at our clubhouse then we all decided to go on an adventure to the lake. We had a lot of fun, it was so beautiful. It was 70 degrees, no wind, the ducks were running on the water, and it was so fun to be spending time as a family... I just love my boys!!!
